![]() Road to VR went hands-on with Halo Recruit and published gameplay to YouTube. ![]() In a Halo Waypoint blogpost, 343 chief Kiki Wolfkill managed expectations by saying this isn't a game or even a part of a game, but "a fun little arcade experience". The five-minute Halo experience was designed for the upcoming Windows Mixed Reality headsets. You'll know the game has finished downloading all the DLCs you checked once the "download restart" cycle stops.Microsoft has revealed Halo Recruit, a short Halo-themed experience designed to show off mixed reality headsets. In other words, it won't show you the total download size in a single download, like most other games on Steam do, and it will "restart" the download progress for the next piece of content that the client will download. Once that DLC is downloaded and installed, it will start the same progress for the next DLC, and so on. That is, the download progress that the client will show you is just for the DLC that is currently being downloaded. ![]() Once you check all boxes for the "DLC" you want to download, each DLC will download one by one. Oh, and the way MCC downloads through the Steam client is also kind of unique. ![]() Campaigns have the name of the game they'll download, multiplayer have "multiplayer" in the name, except for Reach, which says "Content Pack 2", and unless you want to play the games in a language other than the default (english), you won't need the "Extended Language" packs for each game. Right click on MCC > Properties > DLC > And check all the boxes for the content you want installed. If you're downloading them from within the game itself, I'd recommend not to, because the game can be a little weird about showing accurate download and installation progress. ![]()
